Wonderful Birthday Surprise!
I started working for this cell phone and Dish satilite company as a dispather for the installers. I had to take phone calls of upset customers, take calls from all the stores (they are located in MO, AR, OK, LA and TX), set up times for all the customers and take care of contracts that come in at least 10 to 15 a day. I was 1 of 3 dispatchers. But it was still a lot of work. One of the girls came in at least 10 to 15 minutes late everyday and would then put on her makeup or work on other things while on the clock and the other girl was only there part time because she was also going to school. Sometimes I was the only dispatcher there. So my birthday was around the corner and some people in the office began asking me what I wanted. So I told them that I wanted Movie theater passes. So the Friday before my birthday, a lot of people were gone and I was the only one in the dispatching office. So Needless to say I was pretty stressed out. So I had a good weekend and Monday (my birthday) came around. I got to work and they had a birthday sign up and balloons. I thought that it was going to be a great day. 30 minutes after I got there, my boss called me into his office. I went in thinking that he just wanted to check up with me because I had only been there for 2 months. Well he said that they were "letting me go" because I wasn't nice enough on the phone. I was so mad! I can't believe that they would do that to someone on their birthday and on a Monday for that matter! I will tell everyone I know not to go there for anything!

throwing phone at boss
well, one morning i was sitting in my crampped cubical answer my phone that would not stop rining. Some women called me complaining about how the company had ripped her off for $2 and how it was MY fualt. I got so frusterated with her that i ripped my phone out of the plug in and threw it across the room, it smacked my boss right in the face. He was bleeding, on the floor and the phone broke his nose and jaw. Hmm, do you think i got fired???

I had been working at a mexican resturant for about 5 months when a new manager was hired. This man, Ian was an acid cocaine user. He did deals in the middle of the resturant.
One day, a film crew for some ghost show arrived, because they believed this place was haunted. The film crew ordered lunch and began filming. I, and another cook had to make about 13 orders, and we began. Cooking is not a silent job.
Half way through making a fajita, Ian comes in yelling at me for making noise. I said, "It's a kitchen, made of steel. Theres noise here." He was furious with me for standing my ground. He reponded "If you don't shut up, I'll make sure you never get another job here, or anywhere ever again. I'll tell the cops you poisoned people." I felt smug, and said loudly enough for everyone to hear "What would the cops think of your coke deals and crack deals happening in the resturant?"
Everyone went silent. Ian left the kitchen.
The next day he made me go home for not knowing where the relish was kept, (thats a servers side-duty, not a cook's) and continued to send me hme early every day for outlandish things. Eventually, I never came in, when we were catering a large party, and screwed them over.

why i got fired
i was working at a restuarant called the Elks Club and i tripped up a fligth of stairs while i was carrying glasses and i tripped and all the glasses broke..they told me to pick it up and leave

bedbugs
I called into work because i had a rash all over my body. I didnt bring in a doctors note because i didnt go to the doctors right away. For not bringing in the note they suspended from work for 3 days. One of the days i thought i was suspended and i really wasnt. So i missed another day. Then thats when they fired me. I went to the doctors to find out what the rash was and it ended up being bed bugs from staying at one of my friends house.

Ok I was in training for this collection agency and when it came to filling out the backround info i str8 up told hr that i had a felony....
i worked there for 1 year b4 the client asked for a backround check....
they did it and fired me cuz they said I lied to them about my felony....
the sad part was the hr women I gave the info to quit a couple days b4 cuz she got demoted.
There some scandalis people there...this year when it cam to doing taxes..they said I made $10,000 in 3 months and that there was no taxes taken out.....

fired for nothing
My freind worked at a newagent called Drakes and he was a great worker we applied at the same time me for an evening paper round and him for a sunday paper round this was in October, i got fired in May for binning some spare papers and a week or so later he got promoted to the job I wanted which was working in the shop stacking shelves etc, anyway he worked there for almost a year, he went in for his job one day and was told by the boss "Im sorry but you don't have your job anymore, Ive found someone better to do it, they work for less" this guy was already 16 (my mate was 14 then) and he already did the alternate shift to my mate, then 2 months after this he quit the 2nd shift because he was getting a low wage WTF!!!!!!!!

Pneumonia Shnoomonia!!!
I was working at the Philly Cheesesteak Factory... I got bronchial pneumonia and my grandfather died. They called me to come into a group meeting at 9:30 in the friggen morning ON A SATURDAY! so i went to the meeting only to find out something horrible. At the end of the meeting, the boss says "oh hey by the way we made a new schedule while u were out and you can only work the night shift (10-4 am)." so basically i was backed into a corner because thats illegal- im 16 years old how can i work until that hour? and we were going on the books...so i "quit". but i was basically fired...for being sick. and the next month or so my friend was fired there because she broke her finger and couldnt go into work, because she was in the emergency room. Some of the girls there actually said " oh how convenient... she breaks her finger an hour before she has to come into work. are you kidding? yeah she just decided to go break her finger. "damn i have work today.. let me go break my fingers so i wont have to go in..." unbelievable. all the girls there are sluts anyway. if you are not a slut you either end up being fired or quitting.
